During the reconstruction of Iraq all agencies may be targeted and attacked by insurgents using Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) as well as Improvised Explosive Devices (IED).
Additionally, Unexploded Ordnance (UXO), Abandoned Explosive Ordnance (AXO) and abandoned weapons may regularly be encountered posing threat to all construction activities.
