The protection of the environment from a viewpoint of method of work, waste management, recyclable materials and emissions are priority planning considerations. Open Burning and Open Detonation (OBOD) will not usually be considered as destruction techniques for explosives or ammunition except where there is overriding justification on technical, safety or security grounds.
Quality objectives
The CEO and TRLtd management have ensured that quality objectives needed to meet requirements for the Services provided, which are measurable and consistent with the quality policy (including the commitment to continuous improvement). These objectives have been established and maintained within relevant functions and at all levels throughout the organisation. These objectives are to:
- Ensure TRLtd Services meet a correctly defined purpose or need.
- Satisfy customers’ expectations and contractual requirements.
- Comply with all applicable technical standards, e.g. International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).
- Comply with all statutory requirements, e.g. the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Be competitively priced and remain within budget.
- Be delivered on time.
- Provide value for money.
- Provide objective evidence of performance in order to ensure compliance with requirements, prevent and detect non-conformances and continually identify where improvements can be made.
TRLtd is certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for it Quality Management System (QMS).
Technique
The Company operates to the BATNEEC Philosophy - Best Available Technique Not Entailing Excessive Cost.
Safety
The safety of TRLtd operatives, the client and the client's client are paramount at all times. Practices and techniques developed, recommended or executed will be commensurate with the "duty of care" philosophy.
Client Protection
The requirement to protect the reputation and investments of our clients is fully acknowledged and is routinely monitored during all phases and aspects of our work. Risk management techniques will be employed to identify and mitigate technical and financial risks.
