- Development of corporate UXO Risk Management policy documentation.
- Financial estimates.
- Contracting strategy.
- Resource leveled scheduling.
- UXO Contractor procedures.
- QA/QC Policy and procedures.
- Management of residual risk policy.
TRLtd capabilities include dealing with stockpile munitions and Abandoned Explosive Ordnance (AXO), which are often discovered in post conflict areas.
We can implement and manage the SUMP on the client’s behalf throughout the life cycle of the project. This functional service can include both the technical management and independent QA/QC of UXO operations.
Mass Graves and War Dead
Casualties of war, military or civilian, are often subsequently exhumed by intent or through accidental discovery. War Crimes investigations and exhumation of War Dead for re-interment, present a potential threat to workers due to the possible presence of UXO and AXO.
In the case of War Dead soldiers are often buried with Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) along with their associated ammunition, including hand and rocket propelled grenades.
Mass graves of victims of War Crimes are sometimes protected by antipersonnel mines or other booby-traps - including Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) - to deter access and prevent discovery.
TRLtd possesses the range of capabilities and experience to support such sensitive operations in the provision of technical expertise, equipment and personnel to assist in the safe search for and recovery of victims of conflict.
Our technical experts are capability of detection and clearance of UXO, AXO and IED threats to provide a safe working environment for exhumation personnel and War Crimes investigators.
